1st Ever Ranji Trophy Match at Madan Paliwal Miraj Sports Centre

History was created at the Madan Paliwal Miraj Sports Centre (MPMSC) as Rajasthan won the toss and elected to bowl, sending down the first ball of Ranji Trophy cricket at the venue. The milestone fixture marks MPMSC’s debut as a first-class host and showcases the Centre’s readiness to stage top-tier domestic cricket.

Across Days 1 and 2, Chhattisgarh’s Ajay Jadav Mandal produced a patient, high-class century—144 from 229 balls. Rajasthan’s bowlers shared the spoils, with Khaleel Ahmed, Ankit Chaudhary and Manav Suthar taking three wickets each. With the bat for Rajasthan, Deepak Hooda also struck a century to keep the contest finely poised.
