
MPMSC – ISPL Season 1
A Grand Success in Grassroots Cricket Development
The Madan Paliwal Miraj Sports Centre, Nathdwara (MPMSC) proudly concludes Season 1 of the Inter School Premier League (ISPL) for Under 17 Boys and Girls — an ambitious and transformative initiative that has set a new benchmark in grassroots cricket development across Rajasthan.
Held from May 13 to 17, this inaugural edition, presented by Sir Padampat Singhania University (SPSU), Udaipur, brought together 10 dynamic school teams from Udaipur, Nathdwara, Bhilwara, and Gangapur, competing fiercely on one of Rajasthan’s finest international-standard cricket grounds. A total of 18 high-intensity matches were played, including league rounds, semi-finals, and a thrilling finale that captured the essence of youthful passion and sportsmanship.

Following closely contested battles, CPS Udaipur and DPS Udaipur advanced to the grand finale. DPS Udaipur won the toss and chose to bowl first. Rising to the occasion, CPS Udaipur posted a competitive total of 84 runs, backed by steady batting and strong temperament. Their bowling unit, led by excellent field placement and discipline, bowled out DPS Udaipur on 62 runs, sealing the title and finishing the tournament undefeated with 5 consecutive wins—a truly remarkable achievement in this debut edition.

Guest of Honour: Mr. Rohit Jhalani – Former Rajasthan Ranji player, record-holding wicketkeeper, and BCCI-certified coach, who continues to serve the game through mentoring and development programs.

A special acknowledgment goes to Mr. Laxman Diwan, the Strategic Lead and Head of MPMSC Operations, whose vision, planning, and hands-on leadership were instrumental in the successful execution of ISPL Season 1. Mr. Diwan welcomed the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour and oversaw all core operations with exceptional professionalism. His relentless dedication and belief in the transformative power of sports made this milestone event not only possible but truly impactful.
