Gujarat Titans Return to MPMSC for Elite Four-Day Training Camp

Shubman Gill Leads High-Performance Sessions in Nathdwara
The quiet mornings of Nathdwara once again echoed with the rhythm of professional cricket as Indian Premier League franchise Gujarat Titans returned to the Madan Paliwal Miraj Sports Centre (MPMSC) for a four-day high-performance training camp from 16th to 19th February 2026.
In what marks their second visit within a short span, the franchise’s decision to revisit MPMSC reflects growing confidence in the venue’s cricketing infrastructure and operational standards.
Leading the squad was Shubman Gill, captain of Gujarat Titans and current captain of India’s ODI and Test teams. Gill’s presence anchored a structured and focused preparation camp that combined tactical discipline with technical refinement.
The Titans contingent included senior and emerging talents such as Sai Kishore, Ishant Sharma, Jayant Yadav, Shahrukh Khan, Anuj Rawat, Kumar Kushagra, B Sai Sudarshan, Arshad Khan, Manav Suthar, Gurnoor Brar, Prithvi Raj Yarra, Ashok Sharma, along with Head Coach Ashish Nehra and Director of Cricket Vikram Solanki overseeing preparations.
High-Performance Environment: Over the course of four days, the team engaged in:
  • Centre-wicket match simulations on prepared surfaces.
  • Skill-specific net sessions
  • Tactical planning modules
  • Day-to-night transition practice under floodlights
The well-maintained outfield and calibrated lighting systems allowed seamless progression from afternoon drills into evening sessions — closely mirroring competitive match scenarios.
Players and coaching staff were observed working intensively on scenario-based match strategies, with Gill frequently interacting with bowlers and batters during simulation sessions, reflecting a leadership approach rooted in detail and execution.
A Venue Earning Repeat Trust
In elite sport, repeat visits speak louder than endorsements. Gujarat Titans’ return to MPMSC signals a growing recognition of the venue as a dependable preparation base capable of delivering consistent pitch conditions, operational precision, and uninterrupted training flow. The integrated ecosystem — combining stadium facilities with nearby hospitality support — enabled the franchise to focus exclusively on performance without logistical distraction.
Strengthening Rajasthan’s Sporting Landscape
With consecutive high-profile camps successfully completed, MPMSC continues to quietly strengthen its position within India’s professional cricket circuit. The presence of nationallevel leadership and IPL talent at the venue reinforces its evolving identity as a structured, high-performance training destination.

As the Gujarat Titans departed after four focused days of preparation, Nathdwara once again demonstrated that world-class cricketing ambition can find its rhythm beyond metropolitan centres — in venues built on precision, professionalism, and purpose.
