Indian Team Batting Coach Sitanshu Kotak Visits MPMSC, Shares Insights with Young Cricketers
In a significant moment for grassroots cricket development in the region, Sitanshu
Hargovindbhai Kotak, Batting Coach of the Indian Cricket Team, paid a special visit to the
Madan Paliwal Miraj Sports Centre (MPMSC).
Kotak began his visit with a detailed walkthrough of the stadium, observing the
infrastructure and overall readiness of the venue as a high-performance cricketing hub. He
later spent time at the MPMSC Cricket Academy, where he interacted with young trainees
and shared valuable insights from his experience at the highest level of the game.
Addressing the budding cricketers, Kotak stressed the importance of discipline, focus, and
consistent effort. He encouraged the players to stay committed to the process, highlighting
that long-term development and strong fundamentals are key to succeeding in professional
cricket.
In a key technical exchange, Mr. Kotak also engaged in an in-depth discussion with the
MPMSC Cricket Academy Head Coach, Mr. Chandrapal Singh, focusing on modern coaching
methodologies, player development pathways, and structured training approaches. The
discussion further emphasized the importance of advancing coaching standards in the
region, with a specific focus on promoting Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI)
coaching certification and licensing processes in the Rajsamand region.
The visit also included an interaction with Mr. Madan Paliwal, Chairman of Miraj Group,
and Mr. Mantraraj Paliwal, Vice Chairman of Miraj Group. The discussions reflected a
shared vision of strengthening grassroots cricket through world-class infrastructure and
structured developmental frameworks.
